National Brunch Month: 4 Cocktails to Elevate your Experience

April is National Brunch Month

A celebration of leisurely mornings and indulgent mid-morning meals, brunch has become a beloved tradition for many around the world. From fluffy pancakes to savory egg dishes, brunch offers a delightful array of options to satisfy any craving. However, no brunch is complete without a refreshing beverage to accompany the feast. In this post, we’ll explore some fabulous brunch cocktails, each featuring a splash of alcohol to elevate your brunch experience.

 

Minnesota Breakfast Mule

1.5 oz. Prairie Organic Vodka

1/2 Cup Ginger Beer

1/2 Cup Orange juice

Lemon and lime to garnish


1. Fill your copper mug or glass with crushed ice

2. Pour 1.5 oz of Prairie Organic Vodka 

3. Add 1/2 cup orange juice

4. Add 1/2 cup ginger beer

5. Stir to combine and garnish with lime wedges and orange slices

 

Tequila Sunrise Mimosa

1 oz. Chilled Siempre tequila

Chilled Zonin Prosecco

Orange juice

Grenadine

Orange to garnish

1. Pour 1 oz. of tequila into a flute

2. Add Zonin Prosecco until your flute is half full

3. Pour in orange juice until almost full, saving about 1/2'' at the top

4. Finish by adding a large splash of grenadine

 

Warm Old Fashioned

2 oz. New Riff Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

1 sugar cube

3 dashes aromatic bitters

2 orange slices2 Maraschino cherries

1 splash club soda

2 oz. hot water

1. Place sugar cube in the bottom of a rocks glass and saturate it with 3 dashes of bitters

2. Add one orange slice, a cherry, and a splash of soda and muddle thoroughly. Remove the fruit remnants.

3. Add the bourbon and finish it off with warm water

4. Garnish with remaining orange slice and cherry

 

Espresso Martini

2 oz. Shanky's Whip

1 oz. Prairie Organic Vodka

1 oz. Espresso

3 coffee beans

1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice

2. Add the Shanky's Whip, Prairie Organic Vodka, and Espresso to the shaker

3. Shake until all ingredients are well mixed and chilled

4. Strain into a chilled Martini Glass

5. Garnish with 3 coffee beans
